The 13th Annual Frankfort Bluegrass Festival is a FREE family friendly event Saturday and Sunday July 8th & 9th 2023 in downtown Frankfort, IL put on solely by volunteers featuring 15+ top notch national and regional bluegrass bands performing on Breidert Green and in Prairie Park, along with kids tent and activities area, workshops with musicians, jam tent, food and craft vendors and more.

The Frankfort Bluegrass Fest is an Illinois non-profit event that is only made possible by generous donation and sponsorship. Made up of passionate volunteers, our mission is to promote
the preservation and education of bluegrass music, a true traditional American musical art form in downtown Frankfort, IL and beyond.
We are proud to have won the prestigious International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Event Of The Year Award in 2018 as well as the Event Pacesetter Award in 2016 and 2017, bringing international acclaim to Frankfort.
